CANDIDATE’S PROFILE
Capacity for analysis, practical thinking, process oriented, analytical ability, goal orientation and initiative
English language is a must, German is an advantage
Communication and leadership skills, reliability, responsibility
Focus on internal and external customer, open - minded, proactive and persistent, team player
Negociation skills, commercial & technical understanding
Very good knowledge of MS-Office and SAP
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures customer projects are successfully managed, from start to finish from a purchasing perspective; all components provided by external suppliers are produced and shipped in line with GG launch timeline requirements
Checks the project costs with the project team, purchasing and sales during the enquiry phase of customer projects
Manages and drives cross-functional alignment process for supplier allocation decisions
Manages customer projects from purchasing perspective, i.e. detailed project progress follow up w/ suppliers (including tool and sample progress tracking)
Internal project escalation management in case of project performance issues during project development and launch phase
External project escalation management in case of project/supplier performance issues during project development and launch phase
Is the first point of contact within purchasing during project phase (i.e. customer projects for which GG is bidding or has already been nominated) until 90 days after start of production
Plans, controls, keeps track and reports project status
